Dr. Hiroshi Sasaki is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at the Jikei University School of Medicine. Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from Jikei University School of Medicine in 1999. He completed his residency and fellowship at Toranomon Hospital, Tokai University and Jikei University School of Medicine. He was the research fellow (Professor Laurence Klotz’s Lab) in Department of Surgery, Division of Urology, University of Toronto from 2010 to 2012. His research focuses on the diagnosis of prostate MRI, MR/Ultrasound fusion-guided prostate biopsy, focal cryotherapy therapy for prostate cancer and local radio-recurrent prostate cancer including salvage radical prostatectomy. His research aims to identify appropriate use for MRI imaging in diagnosis and management of prostate cancer including selection/treatment of patients with focal therapy modalities and local recurrent disease.
